Rotary Swing Tour : over rotation and footwork
Author: SchoonerSubject: over rotation and footworkPosted: 20 March 2010 at 12:08am
Reviewing Ricky Fowler’s vs Tiger’s swing analysis I noticed that both Ricky and Tiger end the follow through with the trailing foot vertical. Ricky with weight over the balls of the feet and Tiger with weight roughly over the ankles per RST – same result. Jack Nicholas recently on Golf Channel also ended the swing with the trailing foot vertical. If the trailing foot rests on the toes, but the heel falls towards where the ball was positioned, can this be due to over rotation? Is there some restriction of hip rotation on the follow through similar to the restriction of hip rotation on the backswing? And now, following Survivor, it’s Christina and Chuck. Best of luck with the project!
