Author: sonadtSubject: Shoulder/hip correlation and oblique musclePosted: 17 February 2010 at 1:37pm
Chuck, Al, After reading the level-1 manual, I have some opinion as:Ideally, after Move 1, the shoulder is phased 45* to the hip and we will keep this delay until impact. Is it correct? If that, shoulder and hip are fixed after Move 1 (except some minus movement created by arms). That means the oblique muscle’s length is not change during Move 2 (of course, its fiber stretching is constant as well). Then this conclusion leads us to use other muscles to rotate the hip back in Move 2. It might be hip adduction/inner thigh muscles. This is my own opinion and it may be misled from my short studying. Help me if I’m wrong.Sonadt
