The fun thing about having a swing model as opposed to “what works today” is that with time, you improve and more importantly, you know why. I’m already a big fan, having worked my way down to a 3 handicap with only playing and/or practicing once a week. I’m comfortable with the set-up and have really paid attention to move 1 and 2: my right arm bends much later and more vertically than ever before. The downswing is so simple: just plant the left heel and rotate. But this weekend, it really clicked. For the first time, I was able to eliminate completely that little shrug of the shoulders as the swing approached the top of the backswing.
