It’s been almost 18 months since my last post here. I am glad to be back to golf and this forum. I am still in amazement with Jamie’s swing. Here’s something I’d like to share. My typical driver CHS without a ball using the SST (radar) is around 104-108. Yesterday, I tried two things which I don’t do with my typical driver:
Move the hands higher (above the head) at the top of the backswing- steeper plane, which may be the correct plane?
Let the club go below parallel (yeah, where you can see the club head out of the left eye!)
Result on the SST – first swing: 122 MPH! Can’t be real. Second swing: 120 MPH. Holy crap. So then, which is it – the height of the hands or the over-rotation (technically, there is no such thing [...]
